There are two ways to update the golden image:
● Update the golden image at the same time as the Active update (Both
mode).
● Update the golden image using the Active image that has already been
written (Recovery mode).
The golden image can be updated only when the server is powered off.
You can update the golden image using the iRMC S5 web interface or the
Redfish API of the iRMC S5.
Updating the golden image using the iRMC S5 web interface
▶ Log in to the iRMC S5 web interface.
▶ Select the Tools menu.
▶ Open the Update page.
▶ In the BIOS Update group, set the Update Source to Image file.
▶ Set the Image to Flash to Both or Recovery.
▶ Click Start Update to Perform.
