6.1.11 Factory settings

The nEXT pump can be re‑configured to its original factory settings with one serial
command.
To reset the motor controller to factory settings, send the following command:

The factory settings are restored in the memory within the nEXT pump. A Power cycle
may be required if either valve type setting was previously configured to a non-default
setting.

6.1.12 Assigning a multi-drop address

Each individual pump must be programmed with its own multi-drop address via a point-
to- point connection before introduction into a multi-drop network.
When the nEXT pump is shipped, multi-drop mode is disabled by default.
Send the following command to assign a multi-drop address (where the 'd' characters
represent the address):

The address can be any decimal number from 1 to 98. The address number 0 is used to
disable multi‑drop mode. The address number 99 is reserved as a wild card and is used in
the query set up detailed later.
The reply will be as follows:

The multi‑drop address is stored within the nEXT pump.
A query can be sent to the pump to find out if it has a multi-drop address. Send the
following command:
