If you operate the pump without oil or with incorrect rotation direction for a long time, it can destroy the pump and create dangerous situations. Never use discarded seals. To fill in the oil, unscrew the oil fill plug and fill in until the oil level reaches the "MAX" marking beside the oil sight glass. Typically the whole 1 l oil can is used for the pump.
