Power supply
Removing the injector
LOWER INJECTORS
DO NOT REMOVE THE LOWER INJECTORS
Only the fuel pipe of the lower injectors may be
removed; in order to remove the pipe, the com-
plete filter box must be removed beforehand. Then
proceed as described:
•
Remove the four screws fastening the
fuel pipe securing the injectors to the
throttle body.
•
Remove the fuel pipe.
Checking the injector
•
Checking the wiring harness and the connections.
•
The injectors may be activated to check that they are working correctly from the menu SELF-
DIAGNOSIS / ACTIVATION FUNCTIONS / ACTIVATE INJECTOR of the diagnostic tool.
Removing the throttle body
•
Completely remove the air filter box.
•
Disconnect the injector fuel pipe.
•
Release the snap fit clamp on the col-
lars from the engine.
NOTE
DO NOT RELEASE THE CLAMPS COMPLETELY. LEAVE
IN AN INTERMEDIATE POSITION TO FACILITATE REFIT-
TING.
•
Disconnect the lower injector connec-
tors.
