Exhaust System Leak

1. Inspect the muffler to header pipe for leaks. If leaks are
present:
a. Remove the muffler
b. Clean all mating surfaces.
c. Replace any damaged components.
d. Install the muffler.
2. Inspect the muffler to header pipe for leaks. If leaks persist:
a. Remove the muffler.
b. Apply a bead of Permatex Ultra Copper or LOCTITE
5920 FLANGE SEALANT.
c. Install the muffler.
d. Wipe off excess sealant.
e. Let sealant cure before starting engine.
