6. Connect battery positive cable (red) first, tightening to
60-70 in-lbs (6.8-7.9 Nm). See
ANCE.
7. Connect negative battery cable, tightening to 60-70 in-lbs
(6.8-7.9 Nm).

1.16 BATTERY MAINTEN-
After installing seat, pull upward on seat to be sure it is
locked in position. While riding, a loose seat can shift
causing loss of control, which could result in death or
serious injury. (00070b)
8. Install seat.
