Spvp
(SmartSwitch 6500 Only)
Use SPVP to add, delete, or show soft PVPs (SPVPs) on the switch. An SPVP connects this switch (the source switch)
to a switch across the ATM network (the target switch).
Note
Before adding an SPVP at this switch, you must configure the target address at the
target switch.

Port number on the switch. (Physical port used
as SPVP source port.)
VPI allocated to the SPVP source port.
Specifies whether or not the destination VPI
input at the source switch must be used as the
target port (at the target switch). If you specify
Required, the VPI specified in the
[DestinationVpi] input parameter must be used
as the target port. If you specify Any, the target
switch can use any VPI as the target port.
VPI allocated to the target port.
Destination (target) address to which the SPVP
should attempt to connect.
Index of the forward (source to target) traffic
descriptor.
Index of the backward (target to source) traffic
descriptor.
Time interval between SPVP retries.
