5. With one person pushing the door inward and
upward, have a second person tighten the door hinge

fasteners .
TORQUE
Door Hinge Fasteners:
17 lb-ft (23 Nm)
6. Check the door gap on its leading edge.
NOTICE
If door gap adjustment is needed, make a small
adjustment to the striker pin vertical position and redo
steps 1–4.
7. Verify that the door properly opens, closes, and locks.

1. Remove inner door trim by removing its fastener
2. Remove door hinge fastener covers
