23. Rotate RH and LH rear upper control arms into
position and install NEW mounting fasteners. Torque
fasteners to specification.

GENERAL XP / GENERAL XP 4

81 lb-ft (110 Nm)
24. Install NEW stabilizer mounting fasteners and torque
nut to specification.
TORQUE
GENERAL / GENERAL 4
Rear Stabilizer Bar Mounting Nuts:
44 lb-ft (60 Nm)
GENERAL XP / GENERAL XP 4
Rear Stabilizer Bar Mounting Nuts:
51 lb-ft (70 Nm)

25. Install inner clutch cover, outlet duct, drive clutch,
driven clutch, belt and outer clutch cover. Refer to
"PVT Assembly" page 6.9 procedure.
26. Rotate RH/LH rear shocks into position and install
NEW upper fasteners. Torque fasteners to
specification.
TORQUE
GENERAL / GENERAL 4
Shock Mount Fasteners:
20 lb-ft (27 Nm) + 90°
GENERAL XP / GENERAL XP 4
Shock Mount Fasteners:
51 lb-ft (70 Nm)
27. Lubricate the transmission splines and mid propshaft
joint splines with Polaris All Purpose Grease. Install
the propshaft onto the transmission output shaft.
Refer to the applicable procedure.

28. Properly lower the vehicle.
29. Lower the cargo box and secure in position.
30. Connect the negative (-) battery cable to the battery
and install the driver seat.
31. If lubricant was drained, fill the transmission with the
specified amount. Refer to "Service Specifications -
Transmission" page 7.2.
