2018 Polaris 500 ranger side by side. Was replacing battery and the positive and negative touch causing a fuse to blow. Replaced fuse and check all other fuses all good. Hooked cables up to battery but now have no power to dash or ignition to turn it over .Ignition was changed 2 months ago .Tested a 30 amp fuse on the firewall was ok. Checked for any corroded connections ,nothing . Anyone have any ideal and anything i can also check? Thanks

A 2018 Polaris Ranger 500 could have no power to the dash or ignition after replacing the battery and fuses due to bad or failed wiring connections and grounds. According to the manual, 80% of electrical issues are caused by poor connections or ground faults. It's important to verify all wires and wiring connections using a known good volt/ohmmeter before suspecting a component failure. Also, check that the battery cables are properly connected and secure, especially the ground connection to the chassis.
