FUEL INJECTOR TEST

The fuel injectors are non-serviceable. If diagnosis
indicates a problem with either injector, test the
resistance of the fuel injector(s) by measuring between
the two pin terminals :
Fuel Injector Resistance Specification:
11.4 - 12.6 Ω
NOTICE
Be sure to connect the PTO harness lead to the PTO
injector and the MAG harness lead to the MAG injector
to ensure proper engine operation. The MAG wire
colors are Violet and Blue; the PTO wire colors are
Green and Blue.

FUEL INJECTOR REPLACEMENT

1. Lift the cargo box assembly.
2. Be sure the engine has cooled enough to work on.
3. Used compressed air to remove any debris from
around fuel injectors.
WARNING
Always wear safety glasses and proper shop clothing
when performing the procedures in this manual. Failing
to do so may lead to possible injury or death.
4. Remove the driver's seat and disconnect the negative
battery cable.

5. Remove the plastic cap
test valve on the fuel rail. Hold a shop towel over the
valve press the relief pin with a small screwdriver to
depressurize the fuel rail. Reinstall the plastic cap.
6. Remove the fuel line from the fuel rail. Refer to Fuel
Line Quick Connect Removal page 5.23 procedure.
7. Disconnect the fuel injector harness leads.
8. Remove the two fuel rail fasteners that mount the fuel
rail to the intake plenum.
