New Software Features; Rvx1000 Software Compatibility - Raymarine LIGHTHOUSE 3 Advanced Operation Instructions

LightHouse 3 support for eS Series and gS Series Multifunction displays
The support for upgrading older eS series and gS series multifunction displays (MFDs) has ended
with the release of LightHouse 3 Version 3.12.
Systems that include eS Series and gS Series MFDs upgraded from LightHouse 2 to LightHouse 3
cannot be updated to LightHouse 3 version 3.12. To update Axiom MFDs to version 3.12 in these
mixed MFD systems, you must remove the eS Series and gS Series MFDs from the same network
as Axiom MFDs.
eS Series and gS Series MFDs remain compatible with LightHouse 3 versions 3.3 to 3.11.
Axiom+ variants will only run LightHouse 3 versions v3.12 onwards, and therefore these MFDs cannot
exist on the same network as eS Series and gS Series MFDs.

New software features

The following new features have been added to version 3.14.88 of the LightHouse™ 3 operating
system.

LightHouse™ version 3.14 Wi-Fi connectivity improvements
LightHouse™ version 3.14.88 includes improvements for connectivity with Routers that issue IP
addresses in the 10.x.x.x range. This improvement included changes to the IP address range issued
by the MFD to devices connected over ethernet / RayNet and Wi-Fi.
When upgrading to LightHouse™ version 3.14 the following Raymarine products MUST also be
upgraded to the specified software versions:
• RMK-9 / RMK-10 — Software platform V18.xx / Software application V20.xx.
• CP100 / CP200 — Software platform V18.xx / Software application V20.xx.
• CP370 / CP470 / CP570 — Software platform V18.xx / Software application V20.xx.
The LightHouse V3.14.88 software download package includes the updated software for these
products. Ensure that the products are connected and powered on before you start the software
update process.

RVX1000 software compatibility

In conjunction with the release of LightHouse™ Version 3.14.88 the software for the RVX1000 sonar
module has also been updated to version 3.14.88.
Important:
To maintain compatibility between the RVX1000 sonar module and your LightHouse™ 3 MFD,
ensure both are updated to software version 3.14.88 or later.
Software for the RVX1000 is included in the v3.14 MFD software download package.
