5.3.13 System pressure test

General
The system pressure should only be tested if there is a fault in the appliance.
Fitting the test pressure gauge
1. Connect the test pressure gauge inlet directly
to the oxygen outlet
If your pressure gauge also has an outlet, close
it (e.g. with your thumb).
2. Open the appliance housing (see "7.3 Open-
ing the appliance" on page 29).
3. Open the strap system
strap out of its buckle.
4. Carefully remove foam section
5. To prevent the ADS containers from slipping
out, lay the strap system
foam sections and gently tighten it.
To make fitting easier, the test pressure gauge is
not fitted directly to the inlet of the O
before the 6 mm diameter tube

into the elbow connector.

1. Plug the power cord
insert the mains plug in a wall socket.
2. Switch the OXYMAT 3 on.
3. After 10 minutes, attach the pressure gauge to
the oxygen outlet

4. Read off the pressure.
The reading must be in the range
(at sea level).
0.6 bar ± 0.1 bar
5. Rectify any discrepancies you find (see "6.2
Remedies" on page 22).
