Connecting to a Printer

This instrument can be connected to a printer using a USB cable or the Bluetooth function, enabling printing of a
variety of data including measurement results.

Connecting via USB Cable

To connect the instrument to the printer, use the USB cable for the printer.
The USB communication port of the instrument conforms to USB 2.0.
Memo
• Be sure to turn OFF the power of both the instrument and printer before connecting them.
Notes
• Make sure that the USB connector plug is oriented correctly and connected securely.
• When connecting/disconnecting the USB cable, be sure to hold the connector plug. Do not pull on or
forcibly bend the cable. Otherwise, wire breakage may result.
• Make sure that the cable has sufficient length. Putting tension on the cable may cause connection failure or
wire breakage.
• Firmly push in the USB cable connector that matches the shape of the port (connection terminal) until it can
go in no further.
• When connected to a printer, make sure that the instrument is connected to the AC adapter or that lithium-
ion battery is inserted.
• Using a printer other than the optional accessory printer may result in incorrect operation.
• The optional accessory printer can only print text.
Operating Procedure

Turn the instrument power OFF.

Connect the A connector (female) of the USB cable
to A connector (male) of the USB converter cable.

Open the connector's protective cover, and connect
the Micro-A connector of the USB converter cable to
the USB port (Micro-AB) on the instrument.
‹ Fully insert the connector and ensure the connection is
secure.

Connect the miniB connector of the USB cable to the
USB port on the printer.

Turn the printer ON.

Set the instrument's "USB host" setting to "OFF".
