Used to turn ON/OFF power. Sliding the switch turns the power ON or OFF.
Used to attach the hand strap.
Press to calibrate or measure. Measurement can also be performed by
pressing the measurement button (10).
This is the aperture for measuring samples.
The keys are used to switch screens and to select, set, or save settings. For
details, refer to page 28 "Control Keys".
Displays settings, measurement results, messages, etc.
Used to connect the instrument to a printer via USB or to connect the
instrument to the Bluetooth module (CM-A219) via the cable set for
Bluetooth module (CM-A225).
Only the Bluetooth module (optional) or the printer (optional) can be

connected to the MicroUSB connector on the instrument. No other
devices can be connected. Doing so may result in a malfunction. Use the
dedicated cables (optional) to connect each device.
Used to connect the instrument to a PC when using the supplied USB cable
(IF-A17).
Power will not be supplied through the cable while the instrument is

connected to the PC.
Used to connect the AC adapter connector plug when using the supplied
AC adapter (AC-A311).
Press to calibrate or measure. Measurement can be performed by pressing
either the measurement key or the measurement button depending on the
orientation of the instrument to the sample when measuring.
Users are able to disable the measurement button. For how to configure
Memo
this setting, refer to page 95 "Measurement Button".
Open this cover to replace the battery.
Used for mounting and securing the instrument to jigs or other
components.
When securing the instrument to a jig or other component, securing the
Memo
instrument in at least two locations is recommended. Securing the
instrument in only one location may resulting in the instrument falling
and becoming damaged.
Displays the measurement ready status when charging of the emission
circuit is complete.
