Cleaning Parts

This section explains how to clean the white calibration plate and zero calibration box.
White Calibration Cap (Standard Accessories)
• When a white calibration plate becomes dirty, gently wipe
the dirt off with a soft dry cloth. If the dirt is difficult to
remove, wipe it off with a cloth dampened with
commercially available lens cleaning solution. Then remove
the solution with a cloth dampened with water, and leave
the plate to dry.
• When a part other than the white calibration plate becomes
dirty, lightly wipe the dirt off with a cloth dampened with
water or soapy water. Never use solvents such as thinner or
benzene.

allow it to become dirty. When not in use, prevent the
white calibration plate from being exposed to light by
ensuring the white calibration plate is facing downward,
storing it in the hard case (optional), or taking other
measures.
Zero Calibration Box (Standard Accessories)
• To remove dust that accumulates inside zero calibration box, open the zero calibration box and remove the dust
by blowing it off with a blower or the like. If the inner surface is accidentally touched with hands or fingers, wipe
off the fingerprints or other traces gently with a soft dry cloth.
• If the dirt is difficult to remove, wipe it off with a cloth dampened with commercially available lens cleaning
solution, remove the solution with a cloth dampened with water, and allow the zero calibration box to dry
before using.
• If the scratch or stain cannot be removed, replace the zero calibration box.
Be careful not to scratch the inside of the zero calibration box.
