Testing the switch fabric and address resolution table

You can use the Diagnostics Test tab in Enterprise Device Manager to perform two tests. You
can test the switch fabric and check the address resolution (AR) table for consistency.
The fabric test causes the CPU to generate traffic and send it through the switch fabric. The
CPU generates little traffic.
The AR table test performs a consistency check on address resolution table entries.
Procedure steps
1. In the navigation tree, open the following folders Configuration > Edit >

4. To test the switch fabric, click Fabric.
