Remove the protective cover from the replacement cross cut
unit.
Be sure to remove the protective cover while holding the part

Attach the replacement cross cut unit, and tighten the screw
to hold it in place.

The cross cut unit uses a very sharp blade.
Take care not to cut yourself on the blade.
