Functional Components

The SP-II TPU provides signal processing along with the system control and data
telemetry functions. The SP-II TPU is composed of four circuit boards: a
Computer Data Interface board (CDI), a CPU board, a Power Integration board,
and a Panel Interconnect board. In addition, a 12 VDC power supply is included to
power the boards. All these components are shown in Figure 5-2, and a block
diagram of the SP-II TPU electronics is shown in Figure 5-3 on page 5-4.
Computer Data Interface (CDI) board.
