C.8.1 Replacing the CPU Battery
If you have problems with the TPU booting up and you get the error message
"Error in boot file!!" along with a boot up screen similar to that shown in
Figure C-40, the likely cause is the failure of the backup battery on the CPU board.
Locate the battery on the CPU board. It is near the
heatsink and is labeled U14. The battery is
piggybacked on top of the IC as shown in
Figure C-41. Note the location of the pin 1 dot.
Install the new battery. When you turn the TPU on
you will have to set up the boot parameters. (See
"TPU LAN Configuration Setup" on page C-5.)
