Cut the cable ties securing

(not shown) to the tow bar.
Do not disconnect the tow
cable jumper cable from
the towfish.
Remove the cotter ring

from the clevis pin on the
tow bracket, and then
remove the pin and the tow
bar.
Store these components
away. They will not be
needed with the sub bottom
profiler installed.
Using the 3/4-inch

adjustable wrench, remove
the two nylon lock nuts
securing the cable retaining
plate to the tow bracket,
and then remove the plate.
Store these components
away. They will not be
needed with the sub bottom
profiler installed.
Lay the tow cable jumper

cable aside. Do not
disconnect it from the
towfish.
