Using the 6-mm hex key,

screw the two cross bar
retaining screws—one on
the top and one on the
bottom of the towfish at the
bow—into the cross bar
until they bottom out.
Grasp the cross bar, which

is mounted to the pressure
housing end cap at the
forward end of the towfish,
and then pull the pressure
housing out far enough to
be able to access the
bulkhead connectors on the
end cap.
Disconnect the sub bottom

dummy connector (not
shown) from the sub bottom bulkhead connector which is immediately under
the starboard transducer bulkhead connector.
Apply a thin film of
17.
silicone grease to the base
(rubber part) of the pins of
the supplied sub bottom
jumper cable connector,
and then connect the cable
to the sub bottom bulkhead
connector. Do not over
grease.
Secure the locking collar,

which is not shown for
clarity, to the sub bottom
bulkhead connector.
Push the pressure housing
19.
back into the towfish,
aligning the two cross bar
retaining screws with the
holes in the housing, and then unscrew the retaining screws until they are
flush with the housing.
