The following table lists the environmental requirements for the AXP1440, with the
exception of the AXP1440-C07 shock and vibration values. Contact your local SMART EC
sales office for details on ruggedized environmental requirements.

The ambient temperature around the shelf and the air inlet temperature must not
exceed +55°C (131°F).
The AXP1440-C07 shelf regulates the fan speed based on the temperature sensors
present in the shelf. The fan speed is adjusted to the lowest speed which still keeps
the evaluated temperature readings below or at their respective upper noncritical
threshold. The fan speed depends on the ambient temperature, blade design,
temperature threshold settings, and shelf configuration.
