Remote Management and Maintenance
The AXP1440-C07 supports remote critical management and maintenance procedures.
This eliminates the need for on-site maintenance personnel to handle routine maintenance
tasks. A standard Telnet connection for remote access to networked functionality provides
the ability to:
Upgrade IPMI firmware flashed on the SAM1620-D, PEMs, node and hub blades
Upgrade BIOS
Access in-service application software upgrades
Access IPMI event logs for performance monitoring
Access custom designed-in functionality or event logs
