9. Remove the alignment tool from its stowed position, by loosening the four
thumbscrews. The retaining cable can remain attached to the tool.

10. Position the alignment tool over slot 6 or 9, so that the UP is facing up.
11. Securely fasten the thumb screws.
12. Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver through the alignment hole in the tool and fasten the
internal captive screw. Torque to 0.3 N-m/2.65 in-lbs.
13. After the internal captive screw has been fastened, return the alignment tool to its
stowed position with the UP facing to the left.
14. Connect cables to the face plate, if applicable.
15. After the blade is installed make sure that a boot image is present on the on the blade's
hard disk.
