FRU Installation
1. With the LFT1440 removed and placed on a solid surface, position the LFT1440 with
the front facing you.
2. Using your fingers, rotate the filter frame away from the housing using the two tabs on
the right and left sides of the filter frame.
3. Rotate the vane assembly out of the way to expose the lower portion of the air filter.
4. Insert the replacement fan filter by positioning the filter onto the Velcro edges and form
into place.
Any particulates that fall into the fan tray module during the air filter replacement
must be cleaned out (vacuumed) from the fan tray prior to reinstalling the fan tray
into the shelf.
5. Lower the vane assembly and rotate the filter bracket into place.
6. Reinstall the lower LFT1440 using the procedure described in
Lower Fan Tray
