a flat-bladed screwdriver between the cover and the terminal block wall. Pry the cover
tab up to relieve it from the embossment in the terminal block wall.
Once the upper cover tab is free from the terminal block embossment, the cover
should rotate downward and free itself from the lower embossment.
6. Install the DC power cables to the dual lug bolts on the PEM.

Fan Tray Module Installation and Removal

The next sections include procedures for both the upper and lower fan tray modules.
When a fan tray is taken out of operation, the system manager compensates for the loss
by increasing the speed of the remaining fans as needed.
When replacing the upper fan tray module, the system must be powered down. Make sure
the replacement fan tray module is available for exchange and ready to install.
Fans may continue to rotate after power is removed. Keep fingers away from the
bottom of the enclosure.
The ADP1440-D module must be repositioned before removing the upper fan tray.

Put on an ESD wrist strap.
Connect the strap to the shelf by attaching the front or rear ESD jack.
