TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom
The unit does not start or stop
The foot pedal does not activate the unit
The unit is still activated when the foot

‡ Check the electrical connections and power supply at the mains
‡ Check the fuses on back panel
‡ &KHFN PDLQ VZLWFK IXQFWLRQ DW OHDVW RQH /(' PXVW EH YLVLEOH RQ DGMXVWPHQWV DQG ZRUNLQJ PRGH DUHDV
‡ The unit is in "standby" mode, tap on any sensitive zone to exit standby
‡ Send the unit to an authorized EMS Repair Center
‡ Check that the foot pedal is properly connected
‡ Replace the foot pedal
‡ Send the unit to an authorized EMS Repair Center
‡ The foot pedal is active, check for jam at foot pedal
‡ The switch in the pedal is blocked. Turn the unit off at the power switch
‡ Replace the foot pedal
‡ Send the unit to an authorized EMS Repair Center
‡ Powder chamber pressure is too low or too high
‡ The air or liquid regulator is switched off
‡ Foot pedal and purge commands are not recognized by system. Check connections
‡ Install the magnetic support on a metallic part of the unit
‡ The support is demagnetized
‡ Replace magnetic support
‡ Check for presence of the O-ring seal and replace if necessary
‡ Replace the handpiece
‡ Replace the handpiece cord
‡ Send the handpiece and the handpiece cord to an authorized EMS Repair Center
‡ Make sure that the Piezon instrument is correctly tightened
‡ Check the wear of the instrument and replace it if necessary
‡ Check the connections between the unit, the handpiece cord and the handpiece
‡ Dry the connectors of the handpiece cord and of the handpiece
‡ Check the connection of the foot pedal
‡ Check the settings and the working mode
‡ Check that when the handpiece is lifted from its support, the control lamps of the bottle holder are turned on; if it is not the
case, send the handpiece to an approved EMS repair center
‡ Replace the handpiece cord and/or the handpiece
‡ Send the unit to an approved EMS repair center
‡ Replace the light guide
