For H264 content wrapped in an MPEG2TS, the stream can also be transmuxed and
delivered as Flash, HLS, RTP, or HDS.
For MYPEG-2 content, there is no transmuxing. In order to identify an incoming Transport
Stream with MPEG-2 content (so that it can be "passed through" without further parsing),
the incoming stream name must be preceded with "

HLS Pull

The HLS Pull feature, when properly configured, directs the DME to actively pull a HLS
stream from another DME or Akamai (originally sourced from a DME or encoder). Once
pulled, the stream is converted into a native stream within the DME and can be used with/by
other DME features, served as RTMP/RTSP, or even multi-casted.
It is important to note that this feature only supports HLS streams originating from either (1)
a DME HLS originated stream, or (2) via a Vbrick 9000 Encoder by way of RTMP push to
Akamai (Stream Packaging) with HLS. No other HLS streams are supported at this time.
If the HLS is configured with has multiple streams (e.g., MBR) then only one (1) stream will
be taken in and converted (either the low or high bitrate streams selected by the Default
Stream parameter.) If there is only one stream, then selection of a default stream is ignored.
Once the stream is being pulled, you will see it on the
marked as "Receiving HLS". If you do not see the stream, first test and verify the m3u8 URL
by playing it in a player. (Note: You can add the stream to Rev using Add URL feature and
test there.) If the stream is playing, then make sure the DME has access to the stream.
