Setting the needle thread quantity

WARNING
Risk of injury from moving parts!
Crushing possible.
Switch off the machine before setting the needle
thread quantity.
The needle thread quantity released for stitch formation is deter-
mined by the position of the needle thread regulator. The required
needle thread quantity depends on the thickness of the sewing
material, the thread strength, and the seam type.
In addition, the threading procedure varies with the needle threads
and the types of seams used.

very elastic
(1) - Thread lever
Proper setting
• Less elastic threads:
The thread lever (1) is visible just above the needle thread
regulator when at bottom dead center.
• Very elastic threads:
The thread lever (1) is visible just below the needle thread
regulator when at bottom dead center.
