GENERAL

During assembly/installation, use the torque val-
ues and service products as in the exploded view.
Hoses or cables removed or disconnected must
be installed and routed at the same place.
Clean threads before applying a threadlocker. Re-

WARNING
Torque wrench tightening
must be strictly adhered to.
Locking devices (e.g.: locking tabs, elastic
stop nuts, cotter pins, etc.) must be replaced
with new ones.
CAUTION: Locking ties removed during a pro-
cedure, must be replaced and installed at the
same location.

ADJUSTMENTS

Vehicle handling and comfort depend upon sus-
pension adjustments.
Choice of suspension adjustments vary with driv-
er's weight, personal preference, riding speed and
field condition.
The best way to set up the suspension, is to
start from factory settings (refer to

FACTORY SETTINGS)

, then customize each ad-
justment one at a time.
Front and rear adjustments are interrelated. It
may be necessary to readjust the rear shock ab-
sorber after adjusting front shock absorbers for
instance.
Test run the vehicle under the same conditions;
trail, speed, driver riding position, etc.
Change one adjustment and retest.
Proceed methodically until you are satisfied.
WARNING
Always adjust front shock absorbers iden-
tically. Uneven adjustment can cause poor
handling and loss of stability, and/or control,
and increase the risk of an accident.
