EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM
5. Front Bumper
A: REMOVAL
1) Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2) Remove the front grille. <Ref. to EI-18, REMOV-
AL, Front Grille.>
3) Remove the six clips on the upper part of
bumper.
4) Turn over the mud guard, and then remove the
clips (A) and (B), which secure the front bumper to
fender.
FRONT BUMPER
5) Remove the two clips (A), turn over the mud
guard, and then remove the clip (B). (Same proce-
dure on the right side.)

6) Remove the four clips in the center part of
bumper.
7) Remove the fog light. <Ref. to LI-19, REMOVAL,
Front Fog Light Assembly.>
8) Remove the bumper from body.
9) Remove the energy absorber foam.
