SNTP Unicast

Time—The time at which DST begins every year.
To—Date when DST ends each year. For example, DST ends locally every fourth
Friday in October at 5:00 am. The parameters are:

Day—Day of the week on which DST ends every year.

Week—Week within the month from which DST ends every year.
-
Month—Month of the year in which DST ends every year.
-
Time—The time at which DST ends every year.
Click Apply. The system time values are written to the Running Configuration file.
Up to 16 Unicast SNTP servers can be configured.
To specify a Unicast SNTP server by name, you must first configure DNS server(s) on the
device (see
DNS
Settings).
To add a Unicast SNTP server:
Click Administration > Time Settings > SNTP Unicast.
Enter the following fields:
SNTP Client Unicast—Select to enable the device to use SNTP-predefined Unicast
clients with Unicast SNTP servers.
IPv4 Source Interface—Select the IPv4 interface whose IPv4 address will be used as
the source IPv4 address in messages used for communication with the SNTP server.
IPv6 Source Interface—Select the IPv6 interface whose IPv6 address will be used as
the source IPv6 address in messages used for communication with the SNTP server.
If the Auto option is selected, the system takes the source IP address from the IP
NOTE
address defined on the outgoing interface.
This page displays the following information for each Unicast SNTP server:
SNTP Server—SNTP server IP address. The preferred server, or hostname, is chosen
according to its stratum level.
