Drive Installation
The Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), National
W A R N I N G
W A R N I N G
Electrical Code (NEC), or local codes outline
provisions for safely installing electrical
equipment. Installation MUST comply with
specifications regarding wire type, conductor
sizes, branch circuit protection and disconnect
devices. Failure to do so may result in personal
injury and/or equipment damage.
Refer to "General Handling Procedures for PowerFlex 7000 Medium
Voltage Drives", publication no. 7000-IN002_-EN-P supplied in the
drive shipment (affixed to the drive). Additional copies can be
ordered through your local Rockwell Automation Sales office.
If it is necessary to store the drive, be certain to store in a clean dry
dust free area.
Storage temperature should be maintained between -40°C and 70°C
(-40°F and 185°F). If storage temperature fluctuates or if humidity
exceeds 95%, space heaters should be used to prevent condensation.
The drive should be stored in a heated building having adequate air
circulation. The drive must never be stored outdoors.
