REP 8.1 Right Cover Assembly

Removal
WARNING
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Disconnect the power cord from the customer
supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can cause death or
injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
WARNING
Take care during this procedure. Sharp edges may be present that can cause injury.
CAUTION
Before performing this procedure, refer to General Disassembly Precautions, GP 10.
1. Remove the rear cover, PL 28.10 Item 6.
2. Open the right cover assembly, PL 7.30 Item 1.
3. Prepare to remove the right cover assembly, Figure 1.

Disconnect the ground
harness.

Use a flat bladed screwdriver to carefully dis-
connect the connector on the bypass feed
clutch.

Disconnect the
inline connector.

Remove the cable
clamp.
Replacement
Replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure.

Remove the KL-clip, then the
bypass feed clutch.

Disengage the front
and rear hinges.
