Adding a Private Key
To add an unsigned private key, do the following:
1. Make sure the CLI is in Configuration mode.
2. Add the private key by typing:
security crypto private-key name
Where:
• name is the name of the private key
3. Configure the following parameter(s) as required:
NOTE
Before inserting the contents of the key, enter multi-line mode by pressing Esc+m. Press Ctrl+d to
exit multi-line mode after the key has been added.

contents { contents }
Type commit and press Enter to save the changes, or type revert and press Enter to abort.

Deleting a Private Key
To delete an unsigned private key, do the following:
1. Make sure the CLI is in Configuration mode.
2. Delete the private key by typing:
no security crypto private-key name
Where name is the name of the private key
Type commit and press Enter to save the changes, or type revert and press Enter to abort.
