1. Using a screwdriver, remove each of the screws on the right access panel.
2. Lift the access panel away from the blade server.
Step 9.
Locate the control panel connector on the system board (see "Blade server connectors -
BladeCenter HX5" on page 12)
Step 10. Pull the top of the control panel toward the bezel to disengage the control panel from the control
panel connector on the system board.
Step 11. Use your fingers to grasp the tab on the control panel and pull it away from the blade server.
Step 12. If you are instructed to return the control panel, follow all packaging instructions, and use any
packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
Installing the control panel
Use these instructions to install the control panel in the blade server.
The blade server has a control panel that provides controls and information LEDs for the blade server (see
"Blade server controls and LEDs" on page 7). The following illustration shows how to install the control panel.
