For example, as a laptop user you may have two IP Deskphones, one at the office and one at home.
Depending on where the laptop is located, the Avaya Aura
communication with a specific IP Deskphone.
You can define multiple profiles to use the Avaya Aura

AS 5300 Office Client uses Microsoft Outlook profile management to maintain
unique user profiles. When multiple profiles exist, you are prompted to choose a profile when you
start Microsoft Outlook.
Tip:
The ability to configure and select multiple profiles is not supported for Microsoft Outlook 2000.

Adding a profile

About this task
Use this procedure to add a profile.
Procedure
1. Select Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2. Double-click Mail.
3. Click Show Profiles.
4. Click Add.
5. Type the name you want to use for your new profile in the Profile Name box.
6. Click OK.
The E-mail Accounts window appears where you add an e-mail account to use in your
profile.
7. Follow the directions on your screen to configure the e-mail account that your new profile will
use.
8. Select the Prompt for a profile to be used option in the Mail window.
9. Click OK to save your changes or click Cancel to exit without saving.

Removing a profile
