Advanced setup
Procedure
1. Select Multimedia > Preferences and then select the Calls list item.
2. In the Dialing Prefix section, select the Use dialing prefix check box.
3. Double-click Click to Add New Prefix to add a new dialing prefix.
4. Type the dialing prefix you want to add and press Enter.
The new prefix is added to the list and the list is sorted alpha numerically.
5. To choose a default prefix, select a prefix from the list and click Make Default.
6. Click OK to save your changes or click Cancel to exit without saving.
Removing a dialing prefix
About this task
Use this procedure to remove a dialing prefix.
Procedure
1. Select Multimedia > Preferences and then select the Calls list item.
2. Select the dialing prefix you want to remove.
3. Click Remove.
4. Click OK to save your changes or click Cancel to exit without saving.
Disabling dialing prefixes
About this task
Use this procedure to disable using dialing prefixes when calling.
Procedure
1. Select Multimedia > Preferences and then select the Calls list item.
2. Clear the Use dialing prefix check-box.
3. Click OK to save your changes or click Cancel to exit without saving.
Selecting a call pop-up mode
About this task
Use this procedure to select a call pop-up mode.
Procedure
1. Select Multimedia > Preferences and then select the Calls list item.
2. In the Call Pop-Up Mode section, select one of the following pop-up mode you want to use:
• You can have the new call window open immediately, and become the active window on
your PC
