Retrieving a parked call

About this task
When you park a call in a general lot, you receive a call park token. Forward the call park token to
the users who can retrieve this call from the general lot.
Use this procedure to retrieve a call from a general lot.
Procedure
1. Select Multimedia > New Session or click Session on the Multimedia toolbar.
The Start Session window appears.
2. Enter the Call Park Token number in the To field.
3. Select Retrieve Parked Call with ID from the Select Action list.
4. Click Connect.
A Conversation window appears and connects you to the parked call.

Picking up a call

When you are part of a Call Pickup Group, you can pick up a call that is ringing at the telephone of
another member of the pickup group.
If you are a member of more than one call group, you can also pick up calls from a specific Call
Pickup Group.

About this task
When you are assigned the Call Pickup service, the Multimedia menu contains the Call Pickup
entry.
Use this procedure to pick up a group call.
Procedure
1. Select Multimedia > Pick Up Call.
A new window containing the list of ringing calls displays. An alert icon also displays in the
Status area.
2. Select the call to answer.
3. Click Pick Up Call.
