Uninstalling the AS 5300 Office Client

About this task
You can uninstall the Avaya Aura
5300 Office Client installation file or by using the Add/Remove Programs control panel applet.
Warning:
You must shut down the Avaya Aura
program. Failure to do so may leave extraneous Avaya Aura
remaining on your PC, even after the uninstall program completes its execution.
Use this procedure to uninstall the Avaya Aura
5300 Office Client installation file.
Procedure
1. Double-click the Avaya Aura
2. Follow the steps, selecting Remove when asked if you want to modify, repair, or remove the
program.
Tip:
If you remove your Avaya Aura
receive a UAC prompt stating that the publisher is unidentified. Currently, this is a known
InstallShield 2008 issue. Click Allow and continue the process of removing the Avaya
®
Aura AS 5300 Office Client.

1. From your desktop select Start > Settings > Control Panel.
The system Control Panel window appears.
2. Click the Change or Remove Programs icon to launch the Add or Remove Programs
window.
3. Select Avaya Aura
