AND Mode Zones

This op tion will al low you to set up the sys tem to gen er -
ate Alarms when vi o la tion oc curs on a spe cific group of
Zones within a set time.
No. This field shows the Iden ti fier num ber of the AND
Zone group.
Window This field will al low you to set the time within
which ALL the Zones of the re spec tive group must de -
tect vi o la tion.
The And Zones page will al low you to set up to 32
Groups, each with:
up to 8 Zones
a set time (Win dow) within which ALL the Zones in
the re spec tive Group must de tect vi o la tion.
From Standby sta tus, each Group will op er ate as fol -
lows: vi o la tion of any of the Zones in the Group will not
gen er ate an Alarm but will start the pro grammed Win -
dow.
If ALL the Zones in a spe cific Group de tect vi o la tion
within the pro grammed win dow, the sys tem will gen er -
ate the re spec tive Zone Alarms, and will in di cate the
Zones con cerned on the Key pad.
If NOT ALL the Zones in the Group de tect vi o la tion
within the pro grammed Win dow, the sys tem will re fresh
the win dow and re store to Standby.
Af ter gen er at ing a Zone Group Alarm, the sys tem will
be un able to gen er ate fur ther Alarm cy cles un til ALL the
AND Zones con cerned re store to Standby.
'Re set Par ti tion Alarm', 'Arm/Dis arm Par ti tion' or 'Stop
Par ti tion Alarm' op er a tions will re store ALL the AND
Zones of the Par ti tion con cerned to standby.
The Zones of a Group need not have Par ti tions in com mon.
AND Zones can be set up via PC only.

The sys tem can de tect Alarm, Tam per, Low Bat tery and
Lost Wire less De tec tors.
When a Wire less De tec tor (as signed to a Wire less
Zone) de tects Alarm con di tions, the sys tem will gen er -
ate the re spec tive Alarm on zone no. - Wire less event,
and other events which de pend on the pro grammed
"Type" (re fer to "Type" un der "Hard wired Zones").
When a Wire less De tec tor (as signed to a Wire less
Zone) de tects Tam per con di tions, the sys tem will gen -
er ate the re spec tive Tam per on zone no. - Wire less
event, and other events which de pend on the pro -
grammed "Type" (re fer to "Type" un der "Hard wired
Zones").
When the bat tery of a Wire less De tec tor (as signed to a
Wire less Zone) is Low, the sys tem will gen er ate a
Warn ing low bat tery on wire less de vice event . This
event will not iden tify the Wire less de tec tor con cerned.
How ever, the re spec tive in for ma tion will be re corded in
the log as fol lows:

ID. EVENT - De scrip tion of the Wire less Zone no.
When a Wire less De tec tor fails to trans mit, the sys tem will
gen er ate a Lost wire less zone event. The Wire less de tec -
tor con cerned will not be iden ti fied. How ever, the re spec -
tive in for ma tion will be re corded in the log as fol lows:
TYPE - Wire less De vice Disapp.
ID. EVENT - De scrip tion of the Wire less Zone
Wire less keys can Arm in Stay/Away mode and The
Wire less page will al low you to pro gram the Wire less
Zone, as fol lows.

shown for each Wire less Zone.
