5. To Down load sev eral pages:
– se lect the re quired page from the Folders menu,
right click, se lect Tag (a
cates that it will be down loaded);
– re peat the pro ce dure for all the re quired Pages;
– right click again then se lect Down load.
To down load a fam ily of pages, se lect the root.

If you send the User page with other pages, the
Con trol panel WILL STORE the De scrip tion, En -
abled Par ti tions, As so ci ated Timers, User Menu
Ac cess and Code type pa ram e ters, but WILL NOT
STORE the Avail able sta tus, Ac tive sta tus, Du ress
Code, Pa trol Code and Fa ther Code pa ram e ters.
If changes to the De scrip tions are not shown on the
Key pads, use the Broad cast Keyp.com mand
from the INSTALLER MENU.
For ex am ple: – to down load all the Con fig u ra tion re -
lated pages, se lect Con fig u ra tion from the Folders
menu; to down load All the Pages, se lect KYO 320 from
the Folders menu.
6. To view the pa ram e ters of the con nected Con trol
Panel, work care fully through point 4. then se lect
Up load in stead of Down load.

Firmware Upgrade

Un der "Pro gram ming Menu" in ad di tion to Up load and
Down load item there is Firm ware Up grade.
When a new Firm ware is re leased, a file .hex will be
given to the in staller. This file will run af ter se lect ing the
"Start" but ton (see Fig ure 53). In this fase if the sys tem
goes in black-out or block, it is nec es sary to check on
"Re store Panel" and click on "Start". To re store the sys -
tem with the de fault set ting call the Ser vice).

Remote Downloading

You can down load the pro gram ming data via tele phone
line, us ing a B-Mod2 mo dem, as fol lows.
Tele phone ac cess re quires en try of the In staller code
PIN, and will ONLY be al lowed when the Teleservice
op tion has been En abled by the User (re fer "En -
able/Dis able Teleservice" in the USER'S MANUAL).
1. Us ing the se rial ca ble (the same as used for On-site
Down loading), con nect the Mo dem to one of the PC
se rial ports.
2. Se lect the PC se rial port for con nec tion with the
Mo dem, as fol lows:
– se lect Se rial Ports from the Set tings menu;
– se lect the se rial port (Mo dem sec tion);
– se lect OK.
3. Se lect Con nect ing from the Mo dem menu: this com -
mand will open the Con nect ing win dow ( Fig ure 53).
4. Pro gram the fol low ing pa ram e ters:
– Tele phone Num ber – en ter the Con trol panel
tele phone num ber;
– Dis able Tone Check – En able/Dis able this op -
tion as re quired.
If this op tion is En abled, the Mo dem will not check
for the di al ling tone be fore di al ling;
– Dou ble call – re fer to the Teleservice page;
– Call back – re fer to the Teleservice page;
– In staller Code – en ter a valid In staller code PIN
(en abled for Down loading)
When the Con nect ing win dow opens, the above pa -
ram e ters (ex cept for Dis able Tone Check) will have
the pro grammed set tings.
The pa ram e ters in the Con necting win dow can be
changed tem po rarily with out af fect ing the pro -
grammed pa ram e ters of the open Cus tomer.
