If you do not press a key wit hin 30 se conds, the
key pad will re vert au to ma ti cally to standby sta tus.
The User can en ter the fol lo wing com mands at the
Key pad.
n Arming Partitions
This com mand will Arm all the com mon Par ti tions of the
User code and the Key pad con cer ned.

DO NOT as sign Du ress Co des to Arming com -
mands.
n Disarming Partitions
This com mand will Di sarm all the com mon Par ti tions of
the User code and the Key pad con cer ned.
Di sarm un der Du ress
This com mand re qui res entry of a Du ress Code. The
Con trol pa nel will Di sarm the Par ti tions and will send
the pro gram med Alarm calls but will not si gnal the out -
go ing calls on the Key pad (usually si gnal led by a ÿ over
the i icon).
Di sarm by Pa trol Code
If a Pa trol Code is used to Di sarm the Par ti tions, the
Con trol pa nel will re arm the Par ti tions au to ma ti cally
when the pro gram med Pa trol Time ex pi res.
n Arming in A, B, C or D Mode

Mode Arming com mands.
Each user code can be set up to ma na ge four dif fe rent
Arming mode con fi gu ra tions: A, B, C and D. The se con -
fi gu ra tions de ter mi ne the Par ti tions that will Arm, and
tho se that will Di sarm when an A, B, C or D Mode com -
mand is en te red at a Key pad (the fi nal con fi gu ra tion de -
pends on the User code and Key pad Par ti tions).

Key pads can ope ra te ONLY on the Par ti tions they
are as si gned to.
n Quick Arming for PREMIUM LCD and CLASSIKA
LCD keypad
1. Press ON: the Key pad will so und a beep.
2. Press and hold the ON key for ap pro xi ma tely 3 se -
conds, the Key pad will so und a se cond beep, and the
di splay will show the fol lo wing mes sa ge:
Quick_arming ___
Type:_A,B,C,D__
3. Press A, B, C or D wit hin 4 se conds (to Arm in A, B, C
or D mode, as re qui red). If you do not press a key wit hin
4 se conds the Con trol pa nel will Arm the Par ti tions au -
to ma ti cally in Away mode.

OPERATING YOUR SYSTEM FROM A KEYPAD
Qu ick Arm ope ra tions will af fect the Key pad Par ti tions
and the Par ti tions as si gned to the Qu ick Arm met hod.

Your Instal ler will tell you which Key pads can be
used, and which Par ti tions are in vol ved.
You can Arm/Di sarm the Par ti tions se pa ra tely using a
6-di git User Code PIN, as fol lows: — type in a 6-di git
User Code PIN fol lo wed by the 2-di git ID num ber of the
Par ti tion con cer ned , then press ON, OFF, A, B, C or D,
as re qui red. The par ti tion con cer ned will Arm/Di sarm in
ac cor dan ce with pro gram ming.
Exam ple: If the 6-di git User code PIN is 135790, and
you want to Arm Par ti tion 13 in Away Mode, type-in
13579013 then press ON. If you want to Di sarm Par ti -
tion 13, using the same PIN, type-in 13579013 then
press OFF. If you en ter 13579013 then press A, B, C or
D, Par ti tion 13 will Arm in ac cor dan ce with the re spec ti -
ve con fi gu ra tion.
n Abo ut Par ti tion Arming
If you Arm a Par ti tion with an Exit Time, the Key pad will
emit slow be eps to si gnal the elap sing Exit Time.
If you arm se ve ral Par ti tions with dif fe rent Exit Ti mes,
the Key pad will emit slow be eps un til all the Par ti tion
Exit Ti mes ex pi re. Ho we ver, each Par ti tion will Arm
when its own Exit Time ends.
When you en ter a va lid Arming com mand at a Key pad,
the Con trol pa nel will check for:
a) Zo nes in Alarm
b) Inac ti ve Zo nes
c) Bypas sed Zo nes
d) WLS de lin quency zone
The Par ti tions will Arm in stantly if none of the se con di tions
is pre sent. If the system de tects zo nes in Alarm, Inac ti ve
and/or Bypas sed and/or WLS de lin quency sta tus, the re -
spec ti ve mes sa ge will be shown on the di splay.

If this con di tion is pre sent:
Ø press B then, scroll for the zo nes con cer ned.
Ensu re that all the zone do ors and win dows are clo -
sed se cu rely, and that the re is no mo tion in the vi ci -
nity of mo tion de tec tors;
Øpress ESC to abort the com mand, then retry.
