The In staller Code type CANNOT be changed.
The Code Type for In staller Codes no. 196 and 197 is
In stall. Type 1 and CAN NOT be changed.
The Code Type for In staller Codes no. 198 and 199 is
In stall. Type 2 and CAN NOT be changed.
The Code Type for In staller Codes no. 200 is a MASTER
and CAN NOT be changed.

If the In staller Codes Lock op tion is en abled
(re fer to "Op tions"), restoral of the de fault set -
tings WILL NOT re store the In staller Code PIN.

Codes - Code Types

When pro gram ming the Codes, you must also se lect
which func tions are to be en abled.
The sys tem man ages 19 Code Types:

Code Type 19 is re served for In staller Code No.
200 , and CANNOT be pro grammed.
The Code Types page will al low you to se lect the User
Code and In staller Code func tions, as fol lows.
On the left side of the Code Types page is a Ta ble with
a list of the 19 Code types.
No. This is the Code Type ID Num ber:
Code Types no. 01 to 16 are re served for User
Codes;
Code Types no. 17 and 18 are re served for In staller
Codes;
Code Type no. 19 is re served for In staller Code No.
200 and CANNOT be pro grammed.
Description This editable field (16 char ac ters) is for the
la bel that will iden tify the Code Type. The la bel will be used
in the Code Type on the Us ers and In stall ers pages.
The func tions of the Code Type (se lected from the
Code Type list) can be pro grammed on the right side of
the page.
The User Code func tions are de scribed in the fol low ing
para graph.

User Codes
This para graph pro vides a gen eral de scrip tion of the
User Code func tions — re fer to the USER'S MAN UAL
for fur ther in for ma tion.
The Par ti tion re lated func tions will af fect ONLY
those Par ti tions com mon to both the Code and
Key pad in use.
Panel Reset This op er a tion will:
ter mi nate all the Con trol Panel Events (re fer to Ta -
ble 7 on page 61) and Ge neric Events (see Ta ble 8
on page 62);
re store to standby any Out puts as so ci ated with the
ter mi nated events (re fer to the pre vi ous points);
de lete mem ory of BPI De vice Tam per, Tam per Line
Alarm, Con trol Panel Tam per, False Key and Su per -
vised Out put Tam per events.
If the Alarm con di tions are still pres ent af ter Re set
(approx. 2 sec onds), the Con trol panel will trig ger
the rel a tive Alarm Events again.
Stop Alarms As per Panel Re set but for the Stop
Alarms op tion.
NOTE: If the Stop Alarms op tion is en abled, the events
listed in the pre vi ous para graph will be ig nored.
Arm/Disarm from User Menu If this op tion is en -
abled, the Code will be able to Arm (in Stay/Away mode
and Stay 0 De lay mode) and Dis arm its Par ti tions, via
the Arm op tion from the USER MENU.
Request Overtime If this op tion is en abled, the Code
will be able to make Over time Re quests for its Par ti tions.
Request Teleservice If this op tion is en abled, the
Code will be able to En able/Dis able Teleservice.
Enab./Disab. Scheduler If this op tion is en abled, the
Code will be able to En able/Dis able the Sched uler on its
Par ti tions.
Enab./Disab. Teleservice If this op tion is en abled, the
Code will be able to En able/Dis able Teleservice.
Enab./Disab. Answering Machine If this op tion is en -
abled, the Code will be able to En able/Dis able An -
swering func tion.
Enab./Disab. Keypad Buzzer If this op tion is en abled,
the Code will be able to En able/Dis able the Key pad
buzzer.
Phone Number Modify If this op tion is en abled, the
Code will be able to edit the Tele phone Num bers in the
Gen eral Phonebook.
