Description This editable field (max i mum 16 char ac ters)
is for the Tele phone Num ber la bel (e.g. User Name). The

sents the ID num ber of the Tele phone Num ber).

Answer

The An swer sec tion will al low you to pro gram the Con -
trol Panel an swer mode.
The Con trol Panel can not an swer in com ing calls
when the An swering Ma chine or Teleservice func -
tion is Dis abled
Teleservice" and "En able/Dis able An swering Ma -
chine" in the USER'S MANUAL).
Rings This field will al low you to pro gram the num ber
of rings the Con trol panel must al low be fore an swer ing
an in com ing call.
If the Dou ble call op tion is en abled, the num ber of
Rings will be ig nored (re fer to "Dou ble call" un der
"Teleservice").

Dialling

The Dialling sec tion will al low you to pro gram the Con -
trol Panel Dialling mode.
Line Check If this op tion is En abled, the sys tem will
su per vise the tele phone line.
The sys tem will sig nal "Line down" (i.e. volt age on the
[L.E.] ter mi nals less than 3V for over 45 sec onds) by:
turn ing ON the G 10
LED;
gen er at ing the Line Trou ble sig nal — an X (blink ing)
above the i icon;
gen er at ing the Tele phone line trou ble event.
The sys tem will sig nal "Line restoral" (volt age on the
[L.E.] ter mi nals more than 3V for 15 sec onds) by:

This op tion must be Dis abled when the Con trol Panel is
not con nected to a tele phone line, oth er wise, the Tele -
phone line trou ble event will be sig nalled per sis tently.
Start Telephone Call Delay This field will al low you to
pro gram a de lay be tween the start of the Alarm and the
first out go ing Alarm call. This de lay will give the User
time to ver ify the Alarm and stop out go ing calls in the
event of false Alarm.
The Start Tele phone Call De lay will be ap plied to
the first Tele phone num ber in the Call Queue.
Valid en tries: 0 through 1200 sec onds (20 min utes), in
1-sec ond steps.
De fault set ting: 0 sec onds.
Tone Check If this op tion is en abled, the Con trol panel
will check for the di al ling tone be fore di al ling. If the di al -
ling tone is not de tected during the pro grammed Time -
out, the Con trol panel will hang-up and re try.
High-Low Vol ume If lis ten-in and and re mote 2way
Speaker sys tem (Teleassistance) is en abled it is pos si -
ble to choose be tween High or Low Vol ume.
Pulse Dial This Con trol Panel has been set up to dial
in DTMF (Touch-tone). If this op tion is en abled, the
Con trol Panel will dial in Pulse.
Tones This op tion will al low you to se lect the coun try.
The se lected coun try will al low the Con trol panel to op -
er ate prop erly on the lo cal ter res trial line.
If the coun try is not listed, se lect EUROPEAN
GENERIC.
If the Con trol panel is un able to op er ate prop erly
us ing EUROPEAN GENERIC, you must Dis able
the Tone check.

Answering Machine

The An swering Ma chine func tion will al low you to re -
cord a Voice An swer Mes sage. The mes sage will be
played each time the Con trol Panel an swers a call af ter
the pro grammed num ber of Rings.
The An swering Ma chine func tion can
abled/Dis abled by the User (re fer to "En able/Dis -
able An swering
MANUAL).
If the Teleservice func tion is also En abled, the Con trol
Panel will emit a beep, wait ap prox i mately 6 sec onds
