Any changes made to the Cus tomer code on the
Teleservice page will af fect the Cus tomer code in
the Cus tomer Data win dow and vice versa.

gram the max i mum num ber of call at tempts.

Enable Test Event

If this op tion is En abled, the Con trol panel will make
reg u lar Test Calls. The Test call con firms that the Con -
trol Panel is op er at ing prop erly. If the Con trol panel fails
to trans mit to the Cen tral sta tion for a long pe riod, it may
mean:
— the sys tem is op er at ing prop erly but no events have
oc curred or,
— there is a break down in trans mis sions.
If the Cen tral sta tion does not re ceive the Test Call at
the set time, it will be as sumed that there is a break -
down in trans mis sions.
To set up the Test call, use the Test event and/or
Teleservice, as fol lows.
Enable Test Call If this op tion is En abled, the Con trol
Panel will make the Test call at reg u lar in ter vals, in ac cor -
dance with the First Test and Re peat test event set tings.
If the En able Test Event is Dis abled, the Con trol
panel will not send the Test call.
Enable Test Event If this op tion is En abled, the Con -
trol panel will gen er ate the Test event in ac cor dance
with the First Test and Re peat test event pa ram e ters.
If this op tion is Dis abled (at de fault), the Test event will
be in hib ited.
First Test This pro gram ming field is for the date and
time of the first Test.
Sub se quent Test calls de pend on the Re peat test
event set ting.
Repeat test event This pro gram ming field is for the
in ter val be tween Test calls.
Initialize If you are down loading a new Test set ting
to the Con trol panel, you must se lect this but ton, oth -
er wise the new set ting will be ig nored.
If the en tered date and time are prior to the cur -
rent date and time on the com puter, the Ini tial -
ize but ton will be in hib ited. The Con trol Panel
must be con nected to the PC via se rial port or
tele phone.

Installer Maintenance

The In staller Main te nance sec tion will al low you to
pro gram the date and time of In staller Main te nance
Re quest sig nal.

To set up the In staller Main te nance Re quest — En able
the Main te nance Re quest op tion and set the Date and
Time, as fol lows.
Date En ter the date of the In staller Main te nance Re -
quest sig nal.
Time En ter the time of In staller Main te nance Re quest
sig nal.
Description Edit the mes sage that will be shown on
Key pad (in View Mode) when an In staller Main te nance
Re quest is re ceived.

LCD Key pads (in View Mode). If the trou ble is re -
lated to an In staller Main te nance Re quest, the re -

De scrip tion field in the In staller Main te nance
sec tion).
