All Zones — other than Fire and 24h — will be clas -
si fied as Bur glar.
Instant Vi o la tion (re fer to "Bal ance", "Volt age Range" and
"Sen si tiv ity") of an In stant Zone — that is not Unbypassed
or in Test sta tus (re fer to "At trib utes"); has not run its pro -
grammed Cy cles (re fer to "Cy cles"), and whose Par ti tions

are Armed
— will gen er ate the fol low ing events:
Alarm on zone (re lated to the Zone con cerned);
Bur glar alarm par ti tion, Ge neric alarm on par ti -
tion and Ge neric+Tam per alarm on par ti tion —
rel a tive to the Armed Par ti tions of the Zone;
Bur glar alarm on panel, Ge neric alarm on panel
and Ge neric+Tam per alarm on panel.
Entry delay Vi o la tion of an En try De lay Zone — that is
not Unbypassed or in Test sta tus; has not run its pro -
grammed Cy cles, and whose Par ti tions are Armed
will trig ger the lon gest En try De lay of all of its Par ti tions.
All the as so ci ated Keypads will beep un til the de lay ex -
pires. If the Par ti tions the Zone is as signed to are not

be fore the de lay ex pires, or if the Zone is vi o -
lated af ter the De lay, the sys tem will gen er ate the
Events as so ci ated with the In stant Zones.
The first Zone on the path to a Dis arm point (Reader or Key -
pad) should be pro grammed as an En try de lay Zone.
Entry path Vi o la tion of an En try path Zone — af ter vi -
o la tion of an En try de lay zone — will trig ger the Events
as so ci ated with the In stant Zones, as soon as the pro -
grammed En try de lay ex pires.
If the En try Time is not ac tive, or has ex pired, the sys tem
will gen er ate the Events as so ci ated with the In stant Zones.
The Zones lead ing to a Dis arm point (Reader or Key -
pad) should be pro grammed as En try path Zones.
Exit delay Vi o la tion of an Exit de lay Zone — dur ing
the Exit Time of its Par ti tion — will not trig ger any
events. In all other cases, the sys tem will gen er ate the
Events as so ci ated with the In stant Zones.
The Zones lead ing out of a Par ti tion should be pro -
grammed as Exit de lay Zones.
Last exit Vi o la tion of a Last Exit Zone — dur ing the
Exit Time of its Par ti tion — will not gen er ate any Events
but will clear any re sid ual Exit Time, and trig ger the
pro grammed Last Exit Time of its Par ti tion.
In all other cases, the sys tem will gen er ate the Events
as so ci ated with the In stant Zones.
This fea ture will al low the sys tem to Arm as soon as the
pro grammed Last Exit Time ex pires.
The last Zone lead ing out of a Par ti tion should be pro -
grammed as a Last Exit Zone.
7 If the Full Arming alarm option is enabled, ALL the Partitions the Zone is assigned to must be Armed.
If the Full Arming alarm option is disabled, AT LEAST ONE of the Partitions the Zone is assigned to must be Armed.
8 If the Full Arming alarm option is enabled, AT LEAST ONE of the Partitions the Zone is assigned to must be Armed.
If the Full Arming alarm option is disabled, ALL the Partitions the Zone is assigned to must be Disarmed.

24h Vi o la tion of a 24h Zone — re gard less of the sta tus
of its Par ti tion (Armed/Dis armed) will gen er ate the fol -
low ing events:
24h Zones NEED NOT nec es sar ily be as signed to Par -
ti tions. In which case, they will gen er ate only:
24h Zones that are not as signed to Par ti tions can be used
for con trol ap pli ca tions, such as switch ing on cour tesy
lights (us ing in fra red sen sors).

Fire Vi o la tion of a Fire Zone — re gard less of the sta -
tus of its Par ti tion (Armed/Dis armed) will gen er ate the
fol low ing events:
Duress Vi o la tion of an Unbypassed Du ress Zone which
is not in Test sta tus, and has not run its pro grammed cy -
cles will gen er ate the fol low ing In stant Events
More over, the Key pad:
If a Com mand Zone trig gers an Alarm (see "Bal ance",
"Volt age Range" and "Sen si tiv ity"), the sys tem will gen -
er ate the pro grammed Ac tions. In all other cases (Tam -
per and Short Cir cuit) it will op er ate as an Alarm Zone.
Com mand Zones will be ac tive at all times, re gard less
of the sta tus of their Par ti tions (Armed/Dis armed).
Arm/Disarm/Toggle If this com mand is en abled, all
the Par ti tions the Zone is as signed to will change sta tus
when the Zone trig gers an Alarm — Armed Par ti tions
will Dis arm and visa versa (re fer to "Par ti tions").
PRO GRAM MING FROM THE PC
Alarm on zone (rel e vant to the Zone con cerned);
24h alarm on par ti tion, Ge neric alarm on par ti tion
and Ge neric+Tam per alarm on par ti tion — rel e -
vant to the Par ti tion the Zone is as signed to;
Tam per alarm on panel, Ge neric alarm on panel
and Ge neric+Tam per alarm on panel.
Alarm on zone (rel e vant to the Zone con cerned);
24h Zones which are not as signed to Par ti tions
must be pro grammed as Re pet i tive (re fer to
"Cycles").
Alarm on zone (rel e vant to the Zone con cerned);
Fire alarm on par ti tion, Ge neric alarm on par ti -
tion and Ge neric+Tam per alarm on par ti tion —
rel e vant to the Par ti tion the Zone is as signed to;
Fire alarm on panel, Ge neric alarm on panel and
Ge neric+Tam per alarm on panel.
Alarm on zone (rel e vant to the Zone con cerned);.
WILL NOT sig nal Alarms trig gered by Du ress Zones
(the a in di ca tor WILL NOT blink).
WILL NOT sig nal out go ing calls trig gered by Du ress
Zones (X WILL NOT ap pear above the i icon).
