User Code Recognition Event Each time a Con trol
panel rec og nizes a Valid Code, it will gen er ate the Rec -
og nized user code Event. Like all other Con trol Panel
Events, this Event can be as signed to an Out put or Tele -
phone Ac tion — re gard less of whether or not the Code is
en abled to re quest Con trol Panel ac tions. There fore, an
op por tune com bi na tion of Events and Out puts will elim i -
nate some of the hitches linked with ac cess con trol and/or
lim i ta tions.
The Users page will al low you to pro gram the Code at trib -
utes, as fol lows (the In staller Codes can be pro grammed
on the In stallers page).
The Code list (195 Codes for KYO320), on the left side of
the Users page, shows the fol low ing in for ma tion for each
Code.
No. This non-editable field shows the Code ID Num ber.
Description This editable field (max i mum 26 char ac -
ters) is for the Code la bel (e.g. User's Name). The la bel
will iden tify the User Code in all the op er a tions it is in -
volved in.
The pa ram e ters of the Codes se lected on the left side of
the Users page can be pro grammed on right, as fol lows.
You can not change the at trib utes of a Code with out
first en ter ing its Fa ther code PIN.
Available If this op tion is en abled, the cor re spond ing
Code can be pro grammed and used for sys tem ac cess.
Many ap pli ca tions re quire fewer Codes. This op tion will
al low you to en able only the re quired num ber of Codes,
thus sim pli fy ing the pro gram ming pro cess while in creas -
ing the se cu rity level.
Codes which have not been made Avail able can be con -
sid ered in exist ent.
NON-Avail able Codes will be as signed their de fault
PINs.
You can not tog gle the Avail able sta tus of a Code,
with out first en ter ing its Fa ther code PIN.
You can not tog gle the Avail able sta tus of a Code
when the Ac tive op tion is En abled.
Active An Ac tive Code can ac cess and con trol the sys -
tem in ac cor dance with its ac cess level.
A Non-Ac tive Code can not ac cess the sys tem, how ever,
it can still be pro grammed us ing its Fa ther Code.
Fa ther Codes can tog gle the Ac tive sta tus of their as -
signed Codes (also via the User Menu).
You can not tog gle the Ac tive sta tus of a Code that is
the sole Fa ther of an other Code.
AT De fault: ONLY Code No. 001 is Ac tive.

PRO GRAM MING FROM THE PC
Duress Code If this op tion is en abled, any Tele -
phone ac tions (calls or re ports) as so ci ated with the
Rec og nized user code event (gen er ated by the
Code concerned) will not be sig nalled on the key pad
(i.e. <@255> will not ap pear over the i icon).
Patrol Code If this op tion is en abled, the Code will
be able to per form Dis arm and Arm op er a tions ONLY,
re gard less of its as signed Code Type. Fur ther more, if
a Par ti tion is Dis armed by a Code with the Pa trol at -
trib ute, it will re main Dis armed for the pro -
grammed Pa trol Time ONLY, af ter which, it will
Re arm au to mat i cally (re fer to "Pa trol Time" un der
"Par ti tions").
Father Code 1 - 2 - 3 This drop-down list will al low
you to se lect the Fa ther codes.
Each Code can have up to 3 Fa ther codes;
a Code can be pro grammed as its own Fa ther.
A Fa ther Code can:
Change the PIN of its as signed Codes (Sons);
En able/Dis able the Ac tive sta tus of its as signed
Codes, that is, if they are not Fa thers of other
Codes;
En able/Dis able the Avail able sta tus of its as -
signed Codes.
YOU CANNOT as sign a new Fa ther code to a
code with out first en ter ing the PIN of one of its
cur rent Fa ther codes.
For KYO320 — Codes no. 132 to 195 (the 64
Tele phone Ac cess Codes) CANNOT be Fa ther
codes. Fa ther codes can be changed by the
User.
At de fault:
Code no. 001 is its own Fa ther code;
Codes no. 002 to 131 have two Fa ther codes:
them selves and Code no. 001;
Codes no. 132 to 195 have one Fa ther code:
Code no. 001.
Linked event codes Con nected with Code Types (if
Du ress Code or not), in Con tact ID and SIA pro to col
case, the linked code changes. In this way, for ex am -
ple, a code only will be au to mat i cally linked to a Du -
ress code.

Enable on Partitions

The En able on Par ti tions Ta ble will al low you to se -
lect the Par ti tions the Code will be able to con trol and
set the A, B, C and D Arming modes, as fol lows.
Partitions The Par ti tions line (first line) shows the
Con trol Panel Par ti tion ID Num bers.
If you click the De scrip tion but ton (at the bot tom
of the page), the ap pli ca tion will show the Par ti -
tion De scrip tion.
