About the System

The full-fea tured KYO320 se cu rity sys tems have been
es pe cially de signed to sat isfy all se cu rity needs, from
res i den tial to ad vanced in dus trial ap pli ca tions.
The ob jec tive of the KYO320 is to make end-user op er -
a tion sim ple and help the In staller im prove ef fi ciency.
This is achieved by re duced com plex ity soft ware and
firm ware, and re mote pro gram ming and di ag nos tic fa -
cil i ties.
This sys tem pro vides im pres sive ap pli ca tion flex i bil ity
and many in ter est ing fea tures such as mon i tor ing fa cil i -
ties and tele phone ac cess (re fer to "Tele phone func -
tions").
KYO 320 has 8 In put zones ex pand able to 344, and 6
Out puts ex pand able to 118.
Partitions KYO320 man ages 32 in de pend ent Par ti -
tions — all with Stay/Away con trol. Each Par ti tion
(group of zones) can be pro grammed with its own En -
try/Exit and Auto-Arm/Dis arm Times, etc., and can be
con trolled by dig i tal Keys/Cards, Codes and/or In put
zones.
Events and Actions KYO320 man ages over 3000
events . The fac tory de fault set tings have been pur pose
pro grammed to re quire few or no changes for stan dard
ap pli ca tions. How ever, the pro gram ming flex i bil ity of
the Events and Ac tions (Out put, Dig i tal com mu ni ca tor
and Voice Dial ler Ac tions) will al low you to fully cus tom -
ize the sys tem.
Telephone Functions The Tele phone Com mu ni ca tor
man ages 50 tele phone num ber. Up to 8 tele phone
num bers can be as signed to the Dig i tal Com mu ni ca tor.
Each Com mu ni ca tor num ber can have its own Cus -
tomer Code and Re porting for mat (usu ally as signed by
the Cen tral sta tion).
The Bentel Se cu rity Suite Soft ware and B-Mod2 Mo -
dem (ac ces sory items) re duce on-site time to a min i -
mum by al low ing you to pro vide Teleservice (on-line
Cus tomer en quiry and as sis tance fa cil i ties).
The Teleservice func tion can also be used for up -
loading, down loading and di ag no sis. Up to 4 tele phone
num bers can be as signed to this func tion.
KYO320
Voice Board The K3/VOX2 Voice Board (ac ces sory
item) man ages 64 re cord able Voice mes sages and 32
tele phone num bers for the Answerphone, Dial ler,
Memo and Am bi ent-sound re cord ing fa cil i ties.
The an swer ing de vice can func tion even if the K3/VOX2
Voice Board is ab sent, but in this case there aren't voice
mes sages.
Voice com mu ni ca tions to and from the Con trol panel al -
low op er a tions such as: Lis ten-in; Talk/Lis ten-in (2Way
Au dio); In put sta tus en quiry (with Voice an swer); Re -
mote con trol of ap pli ances (Turn ON/OFF); Arm/Dis arm
Par ti tions; Alarm Re set and In hibit Calls.
Ac cess to all the "over-the-phone" fea tures re quires a
Tele phone Ac cess Code — which can be dis abled im -
me di ately af ter use.
Scheduler The Sched uler can be setup to Arm/Dis arm
Par ti tions au to mat i cally (on a daily or weekly ba sis),
and to con trol 64 daily timer events for KYO320.
Wireless Devices This
VectorRX, VRX32-433 and VectorRX-8 Re ceiver (ac -
ces sory item). The VectorRX and VRX32-433 Re ceiver
ac cepts up to 32 Wire less de vices (64 with 2 VectorRX
or VRX32-433), such as: PIR Mo tion De tec tors
(AMD20); Mag netic Con tacts (AMC30); Glass break
De tec tors; Smoke De tec tors (ASD20), and up to 16
Wire less Keys (32 with 2 VectorRX or VRX32-433)
(KeyFob) (ARC20). VectorRX-8 Re ceiver ac cepts up to
8 Wire less de vices and up to 8 Wire less Keys (KeyFob)
(ARC20).
Programming This sys tem can be pro grammed from
the Key pad, or via the KYO320 Soft ware Ap pli ca tion
and a com puter. The Soft ware Ap pli ca tion (runs un der
Win dows) pro vides real-time su per vi sory fa cil i ties (via
con nec tion to an RS232 In ter face or Teleservice), and
will al low you to make the full est use of all the sys tem
fea tures.
